The Aircontact Lite series combines a lighter weight design with a good harness system that can take a heavy load.  This women's 45 litre version has a stretch front pocket, separate bottom compartment, hiking pole attachment loops, and numerous pockets.  It is compatible with hydration systems and has a detachable zipped lid with two pockets that can be transformed into a daypack.  Accessory options: has attachment loops for helmet holder (sold separately).

Deuter Aircontact System:  The easiest way to carry heavy loads, this harness system has an X-shaped aluminum frame that brings the weight close to the body.  The harness is adjustable to different torso lengths.  Back cushions have a pump effect that keeps air circulating.

SL (Short Length) Fit: Tailored to women and smaller men this fit accommodates smaller back, narrower shoulders and more angled hips. The straps are narrower and curvier to keep the chest free and prevent chafing under the arms. The hip belt wings are curved as well as angled upwards to fit a woman's shape.
